This is Tripoli. The capital city of Libya .Tripoli has a population of 1.69 million. The city is located in the northwest of the country on the edge of the desert, on a point of rocky land projecting into the Mediterranean Sea and forming a bay. Tripoli was founded in the 7th century BC by the Phoenicians, who named it Oea.Tripoli is the largest city, the principal sea port, and the largest commercial and manufacturing centre in Libya. It is also the site of Al-Fateh University. Due to the city's long history, there are many sites of archaeological significance in Tripoli. The climate is typical Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers, cool winters and some modest rainfall

Benghazi , transliterated as Bin; Turkish: Bingazi) is the second largest city in Libya and the main city (or capital) of the Cyrenaica region . It is also a district of Libya of the wider city area. This creates a constant atmosphere of rivalry and sensitivities between it and Tripoli and by extension between the two regions (Cyrenaica and Tripolitania). The population was 500,120 in 1995 (census) and has increased to 660,147 in the 2004 census (another 2004 estimate puts the number at 950,000, possibly due to the inclusion of a larger area of outskirts around the city.

Misurata , city (1984 pop. 131,031), NW Libya, located in an oasis. A seaport on the Mediterranean Sea, the city exports dates and grain and is noted for its handwoven carpets, pottery, and textiles. Misratah was known to the Romans as Tubartis. The Italians built its port in the 20th cent.

This is Sirt , Sirt is a city in Libya, in Sirt Municipality, seat of some important governmental institutions (on the national level) and hometown of the Libyan leader, Muammar al-Gaddafi. the population around 128,123 persons.
